When Charleston family photographer, Lindsay Weber Photography reached out to me to design her new brand and Showit website I was blown away.
Lindsay is a graphic designer by trade, but had her Showit subscription for three years with no website to show for it, and it was finally time to change that.
As a New Yorker turned Charleston resident, Lindsay wanted to share some of the things she loves most about Charleston through her brand, and I’m so excited we were able to incorporate some super fun touches on her site. When I asked her what she loved the most about Charleston her answer was the beach and the food, so of course we had to include an interactive map of her favorite Charleston spots on her about page!
With soothing coastal colors, clean design, and personal touches, we were able to elevate Lindsay’s presence online. And not only did we finally get Lindsay’s site launched, but she actually was able to hit her highest revenue month ever following the launch! How incredibly cool!
Here’s what Lindsay had to say about the Showit design process:
What’s your favorite part of your new brand?
My new brand literally looks like an extension of me. The colors, the fonts, they just flow with everything I love.
What’s your favorite part of your new Showit website?
It’s so clean and easy to navigate. It feels high-end but so soft and airy looking. I feel like it definitely sets me apart from other photographers in feeling more legit.
Brag away – what kind of results do you expect to see from this project?
I have confidently upped my prices in some categories by a little bit and I am comfortably standing behind those prices. I love that having a starting price on my site sets a standard to clients before they even reach out, so I know when I get a website inquiry they know what to minimally expect. I am excited to be able to share blog posts with people with sessions I love to give them as examples vs. sending many texts of photos or even whole galleries, when I really just want them to see a handful of favorites.
Did we successfully accomplish your design goals? What was your favorite part about working together?
100%. Working together was so easy. While I needed to do some legwork in the beginning I was amazed at how smooth everything once we kicked off. It was like I just pressed “play” on my end that first Monday and magically less than two weeks later everything was live and gorgeous!
