I remember the first time I got on Zoom with Shelby for her consult call. She has this incredibly infectious energy. I’m sure you know some of those people too, the ones that can light up an entire room just by walking into it. As an Arizona wedding photographer, there were so many details for us to explore to tell her story, it truly was such a joy.
Creating this custom brand and Showit website for her was nothing short of a dream. We wanted to show off her energy and passion for life, but also attract a higher-end clientele for her business.
She also just had another baby, and it was super important for Shelby to be able to attract those clients who are willing to pay what her services are worth so that she can have more time to spend with her family while also doing what she loves.
Shelby described it as a high-end girl next door, and I don’t think we could find a more accurate description.
Touches of whimsical Arizona desert, mixed with her incredibly style of photography and a softer color palette really made this project shine.
But, don’t just take it from me! Hear what Shelby had to say about the process of working with Hygge Design Co:
What’s your favorite part of your new brand?
Ida took what I had in mind and made it a million times better than I could’ve ever
imagined! She helped me remember who I am. It’s easy to lose yourself in being a mom, I was feeling stuck and like there wasn’t anything special about me to brag about to attract new clients. Ida pulled out the special parts of me and helped me show them off.
What’s your favorite part of your new website?
I absolutely love the little surprise details she threw in, the little things like my initial turning into a saguaro cactus!
Brag away – what kind of results do you expect to see from this project?
I’ve had family, friends, and past clients reach out to me out of the blue about how my website is so true to me! It’s been so fun to hear that it’s authentically me. I expect to see more clients that I adore, brides that are just like me!
Did we successfully accomplish your design goals? What was your favorite part about working together?
I LOVED how Ida got to know me before she got to work! It’s like she knew what I wanted before I even told her what I wanted!
