When I first read Amanda’s story, I got chills. Amanda is a wedding videographer, but she didn’t start out that way, and nothing about her story is traditional. She came to me looking to rebrand her wedding videographer website, and we decided Showit would be the perfect fit to show it all off.
Growing up in Puerto Rico, Amanda was always the family videographer. She’s always loved video and filming. She knew she wanted to do this for a living, but her path to get there wasn’t as easy as she hoped. But through it all it’s so evident that this is what she’s meant to do.
Creating Showit videographer websites for wedding videographer is one of my favorites. While Showit was originally created for photographers, it allows us so much creativity and the video part just makes for such an interactive site!
When creating wedding videographer websites on Showit, it’s super important to bring in a mix of background video, smaller gif files, and embedded Vimeo/Youtube (both auto play and click to play). This allows for a website that has a lot of movement, but doesn’t come off as a 2008 MySpace site (you know the ones where you don’t even know what tab is playing the sound).
As a destination wedding videographer, we wanted to focus on the travel aspect of her brand, and also make the site feel welcoming and down to earth. I’d say we nailed it!

What’s your favorite part of your new brand?
My favorite part is to see how consistent everything is. The fonts, colors, and logos match our vibe and our videos so perfectly.
What’s your favorite part of your Showit website?
It’s everything I dreamed my company would be, and it still gives me so much room to grow with it. I’m obsessed with the little details that fade and how much movement our page has.
Brag away – what kind of results do you expect to see from this project?
I can already feel so much more confidence when it comes to my communication with new and existing clients because my message is so strong.
Did we successfully accomplish your design goals? What was your favorite part about working together?
We definitely accomplished the design goals. My favorite part about working together was how you listened so perfectly to my story and our why, and incorporated that perfectly into our new brand.
