When we launched Madalyn’s Squarespace website a little over a year ago, we built it for wedding photographer Madalyn Yates Photography. Since then, a lot has changed for her business, and it was the perfect time for Madalyn to switch from Squarespace to a custom Showit website.
In 2020, Madalyn realized she had a passion and talent for brand photography — telling your story in a way that captivates your ideal clients to really help you sell with ease. Madalyn has taken several brand photos for me, and I can’t recommend her services enough, so I was honored to be able to help her tell this story through her new custom Showit website!
Curious to hear what Madalyn had to say about her custom Showit website? Wondering what it’s really like to work with me? Check out what she had to say, and don’t forget to scroll down to see some sneak peeks at this beautiful Showit website!
What made you decide to invest in a custom Showit website?
2020 has brought on a lot of changes in general but it really has made me grow as a business owner! I saw a need to make a huge pivot in my business, started pursuing that & really found so much joy & excitement in it that I decided it was time to revamp my website to focus on my new niche of branding photography! Nothing was wrong with my previous website, I just needed to change it up so I could speak directly to my ideal clientele!
What’s your favorite part of your new website?
Wow! So many of the new features but I LOVE how interactive it is for my readers & how engaging it is without being overly wordy! The Branding Experience page is my favorite though because it shares my joy I get from working with clients & also the way the process is broken down for people to read and really understand the concept without getting lost in translation!
Brag away — what kind of results do you expect to see from your new Showit website?
More branding clients booked! Small businesses realizing the importance of branding photography not only for their business but for themselves as well!
Did we successfully accomplish your design goals? What was your favorite part about working together?
Oh yes, absolutely! Design wise, I had few requests but Ida took what I had and made it a million times better! The way Ida isn’t afraid of being creative & trying new ideas was definitely my favorite!
